October 19th, 2023
As our 2023 season comes to a close, we look forward to sharing more paddling adventures with you in 2024. We are excited to announce that we have now released our tour dates for the 2024 season!
CHILE
This January we are finally returning to Chilean Patagonia for the first time since 2020 to host our Ultimate Patagonia tours. Ranging from 12-19 days, our Ultimate Patagonia tours take you through some of the most beautiful remote waters in South America. Meeting in Santiago before traveling to Patagonia together, this tour winds through the rugged coastline of the Aysen region where we paddle in areas that are remote and truly wild. We travel through this region on our private expedition yacht, the Notiluca.
BAHAMAS
This March we’re also headed back to the Bahamas for our Southern Exuma Cays Expedition. This expedition gives us the opportunity to access areas too shallow for other boats, allowing us to feel like we’re paddling through our own private islands. Gliding through clear turquoise waters under the warm Bahamian sun is the perfect way to relax this winter.
While both of our Bahamas and Patagonia tours are full for our 2024 season, we currently have a waitlist and we will soon be releasing our 2025 dates.
BRITISH COLUMBIA
This fall, a few of our BC tours have also undergone some changes!
What was formerly known as the Johnstone Strait Expedition tour is now known as the Whales and Wilderness Expedition. This tour remains the same as previous years, including a one-night stay at the iconic Paddlers Inn, now simply under a new name! This tour primarily travels through the Broughton Archipelago and spends a small amount of time in the Johnstone Strait.
What was formerly known as our Orca Lite tour is now our 4-day Johnstone Strait Expedition. As the entirety of this tour typically takes place in the Johnstone Strait, we found it most fitting to swap the names! This expedition is still a 4-day, 3-night camp-to-camp style tour like our Orca Lite tour was.
Lastly, what was formerly known as the Orca Family tour has now been changed to the Ultimate Family Adventure. Just last year this tour underwent a complete restructuring and now takes place at our long-time home, the Johnstone Strait Ultimate basecamp. This allows families with youth ages five and up to disconnect from everyday life and experience the wild British Columbian coast while still having the comforts of home such as comfy beds, hot showers, and a wood fired hot tub!
Over the winter you will see that these name changes will be reflected across all areas of our website.
All dates, with the exception of our Great Bear Rainforest tour, are now live on our website. We hope to be able to release our Great Bear Rainforest dates later this fall. If you are interested in this tour, please reach out and we would be happy to add you to our notification list.
If you have any questions you can reach us in the office Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm Pacific Time.
We look forward to paddling with you in 2024!
